Alliance Learning currently have 4 new job roles available, so if you’re looking for a new career path, have a read!

1) Electrical LDO/Assessor – Electrical

They are looking for a Learning and Development Officer / Assessor in Electrical Maintenance to be primarily based at their Horwich site but cover a range of the Greater Manchester Area. The successful applicant will be responsible for allocated learners to help them progress in their NVQ.

The ideal candidate for this job role will hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in appropriate area and have previous experience using occupational skills on completion of training. They must also hold TAQA/IQA qualifications as well as PITTLS

2) Functional Skills Officer – Maths

They are looking for a Functional Skills Officer in Maths for their Horwich site. The successful applicant will have experience delivering functional skills in Maths at entry level 3, Level 1 and Level 2. They must hold a teaching qualification of (PGCE or Cert Ed) as well as a minimum Level 4 in Basic Skills – Maths.

This will be Monday-Friday, 36.5 hours per week and does include some out of hours work, a car driver is essential.

Some posts are subject to a DBS.

3) Functional Skills Officer – English

They are also looking for a Functional Skills officer in English. The successful candidates must have all of the above skills and qualifications however in Basic Skills – English

4) Fork Lift Truck / Plant Instructor

Alliance Learning are looking for a FLT / Plant Instructor to work at their Horwich site due to their expanding commercial division.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of FLT, Health and Safety and other designated courses to Awarding Body Standards and customer requirements.

The successful candidate must hold an RTITB FLT Instructor Qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience using occupational skills after completion of training.

They will be required to undertake onsite work, full drivers licence and car owner is essential.
