The National Citizens Service is a once in a lifetime opportunity for 16-17 year old's, it's open to all and it will help you build your work skills and skills in life. It runs in the spring, summer and autumn, you will have a short time away from home but it's worth it as you will get the sense of independence you need to grow up.

It's open for 16-17 year old's (In year 11 or 12) but they can also offer places for young people with disabilities up to the age of 25.

There are two residential dates to choose from:

Wave 1:

Stage 1 - Adventure - Fri 25th - Mon 28th October - residential in the lakes

Stage 2 - Community - Tues 29th - Thurs 31st - residential in Manchester

Wave 2:

Stage 1 - adventure - Monday 28th - Thursday 31st Oct - residential in the lakes

Stage 2 - Community - Fri 1st Nov - Sunday 3rd November - based at BLGC - stay at home overnight
