Next month, the town’s top entertainment venue, the Albert Halls plays host to no less than 11 different shows and events, boasting its busiest month of the year so far.

Kicking off on the 2nd March is the un-missable Circus of Horrors which, for those brave enough, offers a bizarre and daring collection of spooky characters led by ringmaster Dr. Haze.

The pace is upheld by comedian Dave Gorman’s Sit Down, Pedal, Pedal, Stop and Stand Up show on the 17th March. Star of Genius and a regular on many panel shows, such as Have I Got News for You, Dave’s unique brand of stand-up is sure to be a highlight of the March calendar at the Albert Halls.

Musical highlights throughout March include The Cavern Beatles on the 19th March, Big Girls Don’t Cry on the 20th and The Bolton Music Centre Presents take up residency from the 21st through to the 25th March.

The 27th March sees Charles Ross travel to Bolton for his hugely successful and hilarious One Man Lord of the Rings show. Recreating the enchanting world of Middle-Earth armed with nothing more than a pair of elbow pads and his outrageous imagination, Charles plays out the entire Lords of the Rings trilogy in just 3,600 seconds of unbelievable kinetic entertainment.

Ending with a calmer note on the 31st the Albert Hall’s welcomes the cast of Noddy in Townland for Noddy and Tessie Bear’s sing-a-long, dance-a-long party with everyone invited to join in the fun. This fantastic show, for children of all ages, coincides with the 60th anniversary of Noddy and is sure to be a hit with young and old alike.
