It’s not just food that’s being showcased at the Bolton Food and Drink Festival, there is going to be a dedicated stage for local musicians to display their talent. The festival takes place between Friday 22nd and Monday 25th August and different acts will be headlining throughout the day.

Danny Quinn will open the festival at 1pm in the beer garden, whilst Michelle Marie graces the stage with her talent in the Kro Bar at the same time. Other performers on the day include Elvis Hardy, Lime Chase and James Holt.

On Saturday 23rd August the Cancer Choir will be the debut act at 2pm in the beer garden, whilst in the Kro Bar at the slightly earlier time of midday Dharma Sings will get the day up and running. Both finish at around 5pm.

On Sunday 24th August Jordan Allen will be the first singer on at 12pm in the beer garden and James Holt returns in the Kro Bar, also at 12pm. Other excellent local acts singing include Our Fold and Frank Stone.

Finally, on the last day of the Bolton Food and Drink Festival, in the beer garden will be musical talent like Trident, Rachel Green and Danny Quinn. There’s something a little bit different in the Kro Bar though as Jeff Dawson will be performing poetry and music.

Remember visit the Bolton Food and Drink Festival website for full details of all the musical performers as well as the live cookery demonstrations.

Two new sponsors have been announced for the Bolton Food and Drink Festival too, The University of Bolton and the Bolton Market Place. Stateside Foods and Bluemantle are already sponsoring the event.
