Learning Unlimited, which is part of Chesterfield College but based in Bolton, have an exciting opportunity for someone to join their busy team. They are looking for a business development team leader. To be considered for the job you must have a minimum of a lever 2 qualification and have a proven track record in developing business opportunities and meeting sales targets.
The job itself is very varied, with many different aspects to it. You will be liaising with other stakeholders, college staff, sales team, business advisors, companies in the area and other employees. Working with clients is an essential part of the role, so you must have experience working with a CRM system and delivering information using a variety of methods like presentations and face to face interviews. This all ensures you meet the business needs as set by the college.
Some tight deadlines are to be expected in this job, but you must be able to meet them, as well as following procedure as set out by the college.
You will get 30 days holiday a year, plus an extra 5 days if you stay with the company for over 5 years. Part of that is 8 statutory days plus 3 concessionary days. You’ll be entered into a local government pension scheme and will be subject to a 6 month probationary period. The salary is £26,283 a year plus performance related pay of up to 10%.
