If you’re working over the holidays and need somewhere safe and reliable for your children to stay then look no further then Seymour Road Nursery and Beechwood Private Nursery School.

Every school holiday Seymour Road Nursery opens its doors to children attending its holiday club. The nursery is open from 7:45am-6pm, and children can attend for the full day, or for half the day (7.45am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 6.00pm). A light lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day and all the toddlers who attend make lots of new friends and have lots of fabulous experiences. Most of the time the children stay indoors but occasionally there are trips out to the cinema, Blackpool Zoo and other educational yet fun places.

Maybe your child has got all important exams or coursework happening after Easter and needs a little extra help. Kip McGrath Education Centre offers private tuition for children aged between 6 and 16. Over the holidays there will be special revision sessions and workshops designed to help with any last minute panic over exams that might happen.

Bolton Lads and Girls Club will also be offering their brilliant holiday club. Anyone aged 8-12 can join in the fun and make lots of new friends in the process. It is open every day except Good Friday and Easter Monday. Prices start from £3 for a half day (11am-6pm) and £5 for a full day (8am-6pm). For an extra £1 Bolton Lads and Girls Club will provide dinner or you can bring your own packed lunch free of charge. Some of the fantastic activities on offer include zip lining, kayaking, bridge building and so much more.

The Easter Football Camp, also run by Bolton Lads and Girls Club, is another popular holiday activity. Improve those soccer skills with experienced coaches.

Little Lever Young People’s Centre, Blackrod Young People’s Centre, Horwich Young People’s Centre and Harwood Young People’s Centre are putting on similar events as well.

Bolton Arena hold sports camps every school holiday and this Easter is no exception. All children aged 5-15 are invited to come along. For just £20 a day or £90 a week they can enjoy action packed football, handball, rounders’ and much more. Childcare vouchers are accepted but places are going fast, so book your place now to avoid disappointment on 01204 488100. Over 5’s will love the gymnastic club at Bolton Arena. For either 2 or 3 hours they can be the next Beth Tweddle or Louis Smith. It only costs £10 for each session.

It can be difficult to keep everyone occupied when schools are closed, but hopefully some of the events listed above will do the trick.
