Queensbrook Children’s nursery located in the centre of Bolton is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chef/Cook to oversee the daily preparation of healthy snacks and meals for approximately 40 children aged 0 - 5 years.

Applicants MUST:

Have experience working in a child related setting
Have a good sound knowledge of healthy eating
Be able to demonstrate experience in adhering to Safer Food, Better Hygiene policies
Knowledge and experience of dealing with allergies
Have the ability to manage timings of individual feeding requirements of children
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in weaning of babies and sterilising equipment
Be able to demonstrate experience in robust record keeping
Take complete responsibility of kitchen with a view to maintaining our current Food Standards Hygiene Rating of 5*
Show evidence of Qualifications and Experience will be required if invited to interview

Hours of work to be discussed

The successful applicant will be expected to provide 2 names of former employer s for reference purposes.
This position requires an enhanced DBS
