Great News! thebestof bolton Member and Bolton designer, Jim Turner at JKT Graphic Design, has been commissioned by Sale Sharks and England Saxons Rugby player, Jack Forster, to design the brand and packaging for his Biltong product which is to be launched soon.

Biltong is air dried beefsteak which is very well known in South Africa and is fast becoming a very popular healthy snack in the UK. It is full of protein and ideal as a nutritious snack for active sports men and women and keep-fit enthusiasts.

"When I was asked to look at this project I had little idea what Biltong was", said Jim Turner at JKT. "By meeting with Jack and also doing my own research I set about designing the brand which is called Big Jacks - the perfect name if you should ever stand next to Jack!

"After presenting several concepts to Jack, he has now settled on the branding he wants to go with which is great news."

Jack's family runs a business in St. Helens called Organic Meats UK and the launch of Big Jack's Biltong is a departure from the more traditional meat products on offer. A fully automated machine is being sourced to pack Big Jacks Biltong at Organic Meats.

Jim Turner continued: "We will also be assisting Jack with his advertising to help spread the word about the product."

JKT is a well-established Bolton design agency offering a broad range of creative design services: brand design, logo design, brochures, web design and much more. JKT is a 'Best of Bolton' company.
