In houses across the land the countdown to Christmas has begun and to help people get in to the festive spirit Bolton Cancer Voices are staging a seasonal sing-a-long event in the Victoria Hall, Bolton on Saturday, 7th December at 6.45pm.

Along with their special guests Besses o' th' Barn Band the Choir is being joined on stage by other cancer patients and cancer survivors, professionals whose role involves the treatment, care or support for support of cancer patients and singers from local Choirs in the area, for a performance featuring many of the favourite carols and Christmas songs, which like long-lost friends make a welcome reappearance in our lives at this time of year.

And responsible for continuity on the night - Dr Kevin Jones, a Consultant Chest Physician at the Royal Bolton Hospital and renowned after-dinner Speaker, who is sure to add more than a sprinkling of humour to proceedings!

Karen Elliott - Chair of Bolton Cancer Voices said: - "we are all tremendously excited about 'Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long', it should be a tremendous evening; it's a fantastic programme with broad appeal, which can be enjoyed by the whole family.

We have endeavored to keep ticket prices affordable at what we appreciate is already an expensive time of year for most and are offering a FREE ticket for every ten purchased in a single transaction.

It would be awesome to see the Victoria Hall filled to capacity; if like me you love Christmas then this really is a night not to be missed!"

The concert also coincides with the venue's Christmas Tree Festival, this year themed around 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' so the setting couldnât be more perfect.

Tickets for 'Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long' are still available from the Albert Halls Box Office on 01204 334400 / www.alberthalls-bolton.co.uk priced £5-00 or you can pay on the door on the night of the performance.
