Handles & Hinges are a business that is growing at a phenomenal rate since it's owners, Dylan and Janet Taylor, decided to extend their already hugely successful UPVC repair business. Recently, they expanded into the unit next door to their existing space to create more space. And now, they are taking it to the next level, by serving their trade customers with a dedicated trade counter from today.
Located at The Swan Centre on Higher Swan Lane in Bolton, the company is one of just a small number in the North West that specialises in handles, hinges, double glazing hardware, spares and UPVC parts.
The business services both trade clients and the public, with their excellent location five minutes from the city centre and secure parking, meaning anyone can call in to pick up parts, or bring in their own to seek repairs or replacements. With a first-class in-house service and an engineer with 20+ years experience always at hand, and free advice on all PVC and UPVC equipment, your needs will always be looked after.
Dylan and Janet have done things in a unique way, going against the grain of having a trade counter first, and the telephone / internet business following. Instead, they started with the later, facets of the company that are still thriving and growing.
Regarding the business, Janet says: "We have grown from just the two of us but are still a small team and hope that we can give better attention to our customers than a bigger, faceless corporation."
Dylan adds: "We all have pride in our work, and there'€™s nothing better than getting feedback from happy customers."
On the subject of feedback, they have received many over the years from thoroughly satisfied customers, some of which can be found on their testimonial page from their thebestof Bolton feature.
