People's feelings about Valentine's Day can usually be split into two groups; those that love it (also known as those in a relationship), and those that hate it (also known as the single people). But G Casino have an event that is looking to change all of that.
On Tuesday 12th February at the G Casino in Bolton town centre Fastlove, the North’s biggest dating events company, will be holding a speed dating night aimed at those that are looking to find that special person in time for Valentine’s night, or simply have a great night out. During the night there will be two events for the age groups 21-40 and 35-55.
The event sees up to 25 single girls and 25 single guys get together, spending 3 minutes getting to know each other before moving on to the next “date”. During the night each speed dater will get to meet everyone there of the opposite sex and decide who they would like to see again. The dates are then matched by the organisers and within 48 hours those people that are matched are sent each other’s details.
Event promoter, Ajaz Iqbal, had the following to say: “I’m not sure how long it would take to meet 25 single women normally, let alone go on a date with them! This is a fun way to meet people and have a great night out in the process.
“Speed daters tend to be attractive, professional people that simply don’t have the time or inclination to go through the traditional dating game that we all know and loathe. At just £17 per ticket it represents superb value for money, and is the best night out you can have as a single person.”
