Funding up to £1,285 per person to gain an accredited voluntary sector management qualification

The Big Lottery has now widened access to Third Sector organisations in the North West to receive funding for the 'PG Certificate in Voluntary Sector Management'.

Developed by the sector, for the sector, this highly acclaimed qualification includes key modules to help organisations plan and prepare for a sustainable future.  It is now recognised by key partners as a leading professional qualification and clearly demonstrates the commitment of participating organisations to building good leadership & management practice.  

Delivered by Edge Hill University, the PG Certificate in Voluntary Sector Management includes a choice of three modules from the following:

Managing People in Voluntary and Third Sector Organisations An essential module to help you engage, develop and managing staff & volunteers to deliver in the Big Society agenda

Strategic Business and Financial Planning in Voluntary and Third Sector Organisations - Skills to develop your strategic business plan and position for the future

Networks, Partnerships and Stakeholder Relations  - A module to help you assess, determine and negotiate your position in the Big Society

The full cost of this qualification is normally £1,380 per person. With funded places available from £95 per person, anyone interested in taking up this qualification is urged to book their place now.
