Bolton Central Fire Station have a FREE community room for local groups and organisations to take advantage of.

If you are a community group who need a room to use for meetings in particular those groups who meet in relation to health, housing, education, crime prevention or employment then Bolton Centra Fire Station would be happy to talk to you.

The room itself seats around 15 people and has been generally used for fire service meeting and Bolton Central Station are the first station in the borough to open up its facilities to community groups and it is hoped that other stations may follow.

The fire station wants to shed the image of being a 'closed' organisation and would like to really encourage the local community to take use of the facilities in a bid to break down some of the barriers that are often in place. The fire station is now compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act and so is fully accessible to everyone.

If you are interested in using the community room for your group, you can contact Bolton Central Fire Station, Moor Lane on 01204 902103
