Leverhulme Park’s spectacular community Fireworks Display and funfair will return on Friday November 6.

The event begins at 6pm with the opening of the fair. A range of fantastic rides will be on offer, as well as traditional foodfavourites such as black peas, toffee apples and candy-floss.

Presenters from Tower FM will entertain until 8pm when a free community firework display starts and the night sky will then be filled with a dazzling display, complete with dramatic musical accompaniment.

The event has been organised by Bolton Council in association with Stanley John Cubbins Amusements and Tower FM.

There is limited parking on site and visitors are encouraged to travel by public transport where possible.

Stewards will be present throughout the event, providing visitors with a safe environment to enjoy the display.

To ensure everyone’s safety, visitors are asked not to bring their own fireworks or sparklers to the event.

Residents are also advised that they should only attend organised bonfire and firework displays

Councillor John Byrne, Executive Member for Youth and Culture said: “Our fireworks display will be a dazzling display of colour and light and we’d like to encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the funfair, food and fireworks.

We would also encourage people only to attend an organised bonfire and not to bring their own sparklers to the event, for the safety of themselves and others.”
