Exciting opportunities at Bolton’s parks

Bolton Council is looking for commercial, social enterprise or voluntary organisations to help provide quality services at popular parks in the borough.

Moss Bank Park – Attracts over 500,000 visitors per year. There are opportunities for one or more of the following: a café, a small animal attraction, food growing/sales, arts & crafts workshop, other small scale commercial activity.

Moses Gate Country Park – Attracts over 450,000 visitors per year. There is an opportunity within the, Grade 2 listed, Rock Hall Visitor Centre for the development of a café facility on the ground floor of the building.

Queens Park – Close to Bolton town centre and currently undergoing a £5.3M investment from the ‘Parks for People’ Lottery Fund. A brand new community building will present opportunities for: a café, provision of public toilet facilities and management of community rooms with potential for some relevant commercial use e.g. children’s parties, indoor play, meeting facilities.
