The Beaumont Arms and Vicinity 202 have an incredible new website, personally designed by the landlady herself Julie.

Their great chef, Billy, has cooked for the Queen, Prince Edward and Princess Anne so he can’t come with any more credentials then that! He has dished up an appetising new menu that even the fussiest of eaters will enjoy. Billy has 28 years catering experience since graduating from the Thomas Danby Catering College in Leeds. He has taken part in the Chef of the Year Awards and has vast knowledge of English, Spanish, Italian and French food.

For early birds arriving at The Beaumont (those arriving between 12 and 3pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), there’s homemade soup or prawn cocktail twist to start. The main meals get even better. You’ll be torn between the gammon, chips and peas or battered cod and chips. If you’ve still feeling peckish, the dessert of homemade cheesecake or fruity crumble will fit the bill. All three courses are only £10.95 and two courses are still a superb £8.95.

The main menu, served between 1 and 9.30pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 1 and 6pm Sunday is just as appealing. With six tasty dishes to choose from for your starter, “pub favourite” or “something a little different” there’s something for everyone. Accompany them with side dishes of garlic bread, new potatoes or chunky chips and you’ve got a mouth-watering meal.

There’s always something happening at the Beaumont Arms. They hold regular theme nights. So far, the regulars have visited Spain, Greece and Italy with more countries planned for the future. With a quiz happening every Friday at 9.pm, a motown night the last Sunday of every month and live bands in their vicinity venue every Saturday, the Beaumont Arms is never dull. Soul bands, punk rockers and soothing jazz musicians have all graced the stage at the Beaumont, and better still, they are all free to watch.

If there’s a live sporting event happening, chances are the Beaumont Arms are showing it. Their large big screen projector shows everything from football to golf. The pub doesn’t just watch sports, they play them too. The Beaumont Arms play in competitive games in leagues across Bolton.

But don’t just look at the website, visit them in person to soak up the friendly and fun atmosphere. You can find them at 202 Armadale Road or give them a ring on 01204 684437
