Diwali is just around the corner being celebrated this year on October 26th. The event of the year for people in India and the Indian communities around the world! Deepavali and Diwali celebrations take place in many countries in the world. 

Diwali celebrates to victory of the Good over the Evil and Light over Darkness. Is has a major religious significance for Hindus, Sikhs and Jains alike - not only in India, but also for Indians living abroad. In the western (gregorian) calendar, Diwali falls on a day in October or November every year - just after the monsoon season in India. Diwali is mainly celebrated over 5 continuous days, with the third day being the 'festival of lights' and on this day, Hindus light Divas and candles all around the house and exchange gifts.

Bolton is no exception in celebrating Diwali and there are several events across the town join in with G Casino inviting you along to a FREE buffet and celebration. You will be treated to delicious food and some fantastic Belly Dancing performers.

The Cloisters Suite at the Holiday Inn Bolton is hosting an evening of celebration and entertainment for Diwali with a Bollywood Style Dinner and Dance.
