The Octagon Theatre, Bolton, really need your help to complete their archives. They have discovered that 82 programmes are missing from their collection.

Many programmes have become illegible because they are in storage and are fragile or have simply got lost over the years. The earliest programme needed is from 1967 for The Madwomen of Chaillot and the newest that they need to find is Macbeth from 2004.

The collection represents The Octagon’s history as it is a record of all the plays, actors, actresses and production staff that have worked on one of the many performances over the years. The archive can be accessed at Bolton Library.

If you think you have one of the programmes and would like to donate it to the Octagon, contact Helen Rughley on 01204 529407. To view the full list of missing programmes, visit the Octagon’s blog at http://blog.octagonbolton.co.uk/?p=2015
