Smithills School will once again be opening its door for visitors for the annual Food and Craft Fair.

The vintage tearoom will be serving a special lunch of homemade soup, sandwich, cake and tea at only £4 which is good value. The Salad Bowl from Horwich supply the ingredients for the tasty hot soup that the tearoom sells.

The Chocolate Man, Jacksons Cheese and Ice Cream, Hawkshaw Honey and Cupcake Creationz will all be at the fair too.

It isn’t just food that will be sold at the fair. Craft traders who only attend market stalls come along as well.  We have handmade textiles, wood turned gifts, unique popup cards, handcrafted jewellery, and all types of gifts. They make high quality presents.

Any cash raised from holding the event will help with fundraising for Smithills School Senior Brass Band. The group travel all over the world playing gigs and concerts so it is important for them to keep raising funds. Like thebestof bolton, the fair organisers recognise that though it is important to raise funds, it is equally important to support our local businesses and offer our visitors the best of what Bolton can supply

So, if that’s got you wanting to come to the fair, here are all the details. It will take place on Saturday 13th April between 10am and 3pm at Smithills School. There’s free entry and parking and a delightful raffle.
