Could you help transform ROC Cafe, Breightmet, Bolton?

Deborah is a student at the University of Bolton studying BA Youth and Community. As part of her course she has to undertake 220 hours of practice which she is currently doing at the ROC Café in Breightmet Community Church.

As part of her hours she has to manage a project with the young people. Deborah asked them what they would like to do and they said they would like to work in the kitchen. The ROC Centre has a kitchen which supplies the young people with food. Many of them don’t get any other meals with hot food from the tuck shop.

The kitchen is the hub of the church and the community centre however it isn’t looking its best at the moment.

Therefore Deborah would like a good Samaritan to provide kitchen units (both base and a wall base) plus a worktop and coloured emulsion for the walls. She has tried to source these items herself from big named companies to no avail. The kitchen units don’t have to be brand new, just in a useable condition. If you could help contact Deborah via email on dh17hss@bolton.ac.uk
