Are you all prepared for Father’s Day yet? I know I’m not. Thankfully it’s on the 16th June so we’ve got a bit of time to decide how to treat our dads’.

The majority of countries around the world celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday in June. It was established in the early 1900’s in the USA to complement Mother’s Day. It intends to mark male parenting and fatherhood around the globe.

Why not treat your dad to a new suit from Ault’s Menswear? They have a massive range, including waistcoats and jackets. You can hire them as well, but as Father’s Day is the day to treat your dad, splash out a little.

Maybe you want to take your dad out for a meal. The Chinese Buffet are open 7 days a week from 12pm, and you and your dad can eat as much as the delicious food that you want.

How many dad’s love a pint? Visit The Jolly Carter or The Beaumont Arms and get a round in for your dad. The Beaumont Arm’s Vicinity 202 restaurant and The Jolly Carter’s dining room have traditional pub grub, along with other quality classics as well.

For a Father’s Day present that will last a lifetime, book into Ruaux Photography for a family shoot. They are experts in capturing the right shot that you can proudly hang on your wall for years to come.

Does your father fancy a flutter at the casino? Then take him to G Casino and place your bets. They are open 24 hours a day to play roulette, black jack and more.

Toms Toys have plenty of gift ideas. You can have engraved jokers pint pots, whiskey filled with fudge and more.

Cineworld is gearing up for the big blockbuster season. There are several great films to enjoy in June, such as Superman, Fast and Furious 6 and The Hangover Part 3.

The saying goes that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and on Father’s Day cooking a tasty homemade meal always goes down well, and it’s inexpensive. Pick up fresh ingredients from Barrons of Beef or Bolton Market.

If you don't want to do the cooking, Cake Delight can do  that for you. They have created super dad cakes for Father's Day.

However you choose to spoil your dad, I hope it is a success. Or if he’s sadly no longer around, remember the good times you had with him.
