As half term gets nearer, have you decided how to keep the kids amused, especially with Halloween and Bonfire Night happening during the week too? Well fear not, because we’ve got some events for you. Half term this year is between October 28th and November 1st.

Half term this year ends just a few days before bonfire night on the 5th November, so many places are running their display a few nights before. The Last Drop villages display will light up the sky on the 27th October and there’ll be a bonfire too.

Libraries across Bolton are running all kinds of events, like spooky stories at Bromley Cross Library on October 31st.

You can’t escape Halloween either this half term. Whales and Snails have the earliest party of them all, on the 25th October. Fidgets are holding their Halloween event on the evening of 31st October. Everyone will be dressing up and making merry. Other places holding events on the night are Horwich library, Smithills Hall and the Harmony Youth Project, so you’ve got plenty of choice.

Wherever you are in Bolton, you’ll find a firework display to attend. Leverhulme Park and Farnworth Cricket Club have their displays on November 1st. But if you don’t enjoy fireworks then Hardy Hall have their Halloween extravaganza the same night. Little Lever Cricket Club have decided to launch their firework display on November 2nd.

Don’t forget, if you’ve got something organised for Halloween, half term or Bonfire Night, let us know and we’ll post and advertise it for you, free of charge.
