With just over three weeks to go to our fantastic evening celebrations in Queens Park we’re getting really excited. Chart-topping, indie band, The Wombats, Laura White and numerous other fantastic local acts will all help Bolton welcome the torch to the borough in what promises to be a fabulous party on 31st May and we don’t want anyone to miss out!

if you have already been successful in being allocated tickets, you now need to drop in and collect them from the dedicated ticket desk at Bolton’s Central Library. And, to ensure you don’t miss out, we’ve extended the collection date to Sunday 13 May 2012.

Don’t forget your FREE tickets will need to be collected in person. Please bring proof of address such as a utility bill and identity, such as a passport or driving licence, so we can confirm where people live and forms part of the security arrangements for any Olympic event.

The opening times for the Central Library are:

Thursday 10 May 9am - 7.30pm

Friday 11 May 9am - 5.30pm

Saturday 12 May 9am - 5pm

Sunday 13 May 10am - 4pm

If you have applied for tickets for children who are under 14 they will need to be accompanied by an adult. The adult needs to be one of the people who have applied for tickets, and the tickets are non-transferable.

Any tickets that aren’t collected by Sunday 13 May will be made available to those people who were unsuccessful in this first ballot.

This is a must see event and it’s going to be flamin’ great!
