Events Executive (Full Time)

Main duties include

• Promoting a professional and helpful image at all times to the hotel’s clients
• Handling of all incoming enquiries
• Maximise sales at every available opportunity
• Convert prospect and tentative business ensuring ‘Zero fall out’ of existing business
• Work closely with your team to ensure the sales process is seamless
• To adhere to company standards for Opera ensuring all data is input accurately.

Bolton Whites Hotel are looking for someone who is a team player who has great communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be computer literate, Opera trained is preferred however training is provided. Ideal candidate to have worked within events either sales or operationally.

This is a permanent position working 5 days out of 7.

Sales Manager (Full Time)

Bolton Whites Hotel are seeking an individual who has a track record in leading a sales team and delivering results within a large hotel / multipurpose venue.

Main duties include

• Proactive sales on a regional and national scale
• Know the competition, conduct regular site inspections
• Solicit and generate new business
• Prepare and present effective proposals, maintaining well organised documentation and reports.
• Participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings.
• Specific focus on driving national business into the venue across all markets include MICE, Leisure, SMERF, Associations, Corporate
• Build strategic relationships to create profitable business for the venue
• Manage both corporate and agency existing accounts to achieve growth
• Complete National key appointments
• Organisation fam trips with clients
• Organise client events
• Support the delivery of BWH sales and marketing strategy
• Organise sales clinics and participate in conversion days.

The successful candidate must have at least 4 years of proactive sales experience as a sales manager / director of sales. Full driving license with own transport.

This is a permanent position working 5 days out of 7 including weekend and evening work subject to demand.

Night Auditor / Reception Night Porter (Part Time)

Bolton Whites Hotel are seeking a professional team player who is keen to deliver World Class Service on their front of house, nights team.

Main duties include

• Complete the running of hotel night audit ensuring systems balance
• Support reception with check in / out procedures
• Promote at all times a professional and helpful image to clients
• Welcome guests, register and deal with any enquiries throughout their stay
• Manage out of hours cash handling
• Cover of hotel Duty Manager shifts
• Assist in operations ensuring the department delivers a high quality service
• Working with the night cleaner and covering in their absence, ensuring all customer facing areas are clean, tidy and well presented at all times
• Take on responsibility for any room service orders in absence of F&B Department
• Take control of the bar area following a full handover for any late bars.

The successful candidate must be a team player with great communication and organisational skills. They must be computer literate. Opera training is preferred however training will be given.

They must have worked within Hotel Reception or Nights Team.

This is a part time position working 24 hours a week, primarily between 10:00pm-7:00am.
