The Parish Church of Saint Matthew in Little Lever is working hard to raise funds for the resoration of the Church roof and there have been some very unusual activities going on especially from the Reverand John.
In the past he has done a zip wire challenge to raise funds but this latest fundraising event is really quite remarkable.
On Sunday 6th May 2012 Fr John is once again jumping for the
St Matthew’s Church Restoration Fund.
This time, he will be doing the World’s Tallest Bungee Jump
(from a height of 200ft, which is taller than Bolton Town Hall!)
This activity is only worthwhile if he can raise valuable sponsorship and of course every single penny raised really does count.
