Great news that Bolton will hopefully get a large boost to its tourism ecomomy with a new venture hoped to bring 1000’s of local people into Bolton.
The Last Drop Village played host to a 3 day conference recently with the aim to bring many more people into the local area. More than 4o travel businesses across the UK travelled the area seeing the attractions before gathering at the three day event called Fish and Chips, Football and Fred.
Travel operator Steve Reed is leading the event and said that Bolton has plenty to offer visitors from the award winning Bolton Market, The Octagon Theatre and of course thebestof boltons very own Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant which was recently awarded the most loved specialist restaurant in the U!K.
Tour operators at the conference were given the opportunity to meet with lots of local businesses and also enjoyed cookery demonstrations from Bolton Market.
Fingers crossed, Bolton will become a destination for visitors from outside the area who will come and sample the fantastic local businesses and attractions Bolton has to offer.
