A physiotherapy practice in Bolton has been voted the ‘most loved’ in the country.

Bolton Therapy Centre on Chorley Old Road gained the most number of customer testimonials out of all physiotherapy practices in the country in a competition run by the ‘best of’ franchise to find the country’s most loved businesses.

Bolton Therapy Centre, which provides physiotherapy, acupuncture, Reiki, homeopathy, aromatherapy, chiropody and hypnotherapy, gained 105 testimonials from patients between 1st and 14th February in the franchise’s ‘14 days of love’ competition.

The annual competition encourages customers of members of the franchise to put testimonials on the ‘best of’ website in order to find out which local businesses are the ‘most loved’.

Bolton Therapy Centre got more customer testimonials from its patients than any other business in the physiotherapy category of the competition.

Karen Willcock, Practice Principal, said: “Our commitment to excellent service and our concern for patients’ good health has been rewarded. The testimonials are all extremely glowing and show that we go above and beyond expectations to make sure that patients feel much better following their treatment.”

Karen, who started the practice 16 years ago, is a Chartered Senior Physiotherapist and Advanced Acupuncturist.

She is registered with the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy), the  HPC (Health Professions Council), the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists), BAcC (British Acupuncture Council), and PhysioFirst (Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice).

She is also a CSP Accredited Clinical Educator for Manchester and Salford universities, Regional Officer for Mercia Region PhysioFirst, and Private Practice representative for the CSP North West Regional Network.

“I am committed to securing the future of the physiotherapy profession as a ‘hands-on’ profession in the light of the Government’s proposed Health Bill,” said Karen.
