Its official, Bolton Museum is more popular than the Imperial Way Museum and Manchester United's Stadium Tour.
Bolton Museums is home to a number of exhbitions including a current touring display from the Victoria and Albert Museum showcasing Japanese Cloisonne.
The aquarium is also full of amaing surprises and fish from all over the world and not forgetting the archive service which lets local people delveinto Boltons history.
Last years programme at the museum was particularly good at capturing the interest of the public with two of their most popular exhibitions 'Fakes and Forgeries' and 'Nat Lofthouse' with visitors of over 10,000 and 30,000 respectively
