The top award as '5 A Day Supporter Of The Year' at the annual Re:fresh Awards was announced at a ceremony in London back in May.
The market, renowned for it's fresh fruit and veg stalls beat of stiff competition from all around Britain and Europe and was recognised for it's innovative 'in house' cookery demonstration kitchen where regular demonstrations are delivered to encourage healthy eating.
During these regular demo's shoppers can sample dishes, pick up recipe cards and get tips on healthy eating.
With over 17,000 sq ft of fresh food, including fruit, veg and a fantastic fresh fish and seafood section, Bolton Market is gaining a great reputation as one of the best fresh produce markets in the North West, if not the UK.
