Bolton Hospice would like to invite everyone to their 7th annual Midnight Memories Walk on June 15th.

Year on year, this wonderful event has become a night to remember where people come together to share love, loss, hope and a wonderful sense of achievement while raising funds to support Bolton Hospice.

Last year over 1,700 walkers came together to raise over £135,000, a hugely significant amount which helped pay for vital services, ensuring the hospice could continue to provide free care to people in Bolton facing life-limiting illnesses.

So whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one, or simply just want a fun-filled night whilst you help support our work, the hospice would love for you to be part of this event.

The walk starts once the town hall clock strikes midnight, but the pre entertainment is from 8pm onwards. The party atmosphere is loved by all those who experience it and is sure to get you in the mood to take on the walk. You’ll begin at Victoria Square, then slowly make your way up to Chorley New Road, The Beehive Roundabout and then back to the Town Hall square. The route is fully marshalled so you’re perfectly safe.

Once you finish the walk there will be bacon butties and a brew, which will be a well-deserved reward. You’ll get a commemorative t shirt, glow stick, medal and other light refreshments as well. Every walker will be given a number and an in memoriam bib before the event which can be personalised by the individual walker before they start the walk.

In the past celebrities such as Maxine Peake have taken part in the 8.2 mile walk to raise thousands of pounds for Bolton Hospice. All the runners get their names featured in The Bolton News after the event, another lasting memento of your special experience.

Another bestof bolton member, Mecca Bingo, are kindly offering a free game of bingo on June 15th to everyone who has signed up for our Midnight Memories Walk.

Simply turn up to the Mecca building in Bolton at 7pm wearing your Midnight Memories Walk t-shirt and walker number, and you'll be given your free playbook worth £12. You can even park there for free, too, then walk the short distance to Victoria Square.

If you register for the walk before March 31st you’ll take advantage of the early-bird discount fee of just £10 (£15 after April 1st). You can book online here, or call 01204 663055 to register your place
