Bolton FM, our fantastic, local, community radio station needs your help.
Recently crowned for the second year running ‘The UK’s Most Loved Radio Station’ Bolton FM is now searching for volunteers to help out with various roles at the station. The volunteer roles are in areas such as secretarial and sales work as well as administrative and accounts work.
Bolton FM is really excited with its latest accolade and are wanting to expand its audience but can only do that with more local support.
Recently Bolton FM lost two of its members of staff, mainly due to a lack of funding through government cutbacks and need volunteers to step in and cover these roles where possible.
New developments for Bolton FM include a project with Bolton at Home as well as getting out and about bringing the station to local communities through its road shows. All these services are set to significantly increase its audience.
Ideally volunteers will spend around 12 hours per week at the station will mainly need this support during the day. The station is willing to cover basic expenses if necessary.
