Bolton College student, Michelle Kelly, reached the national finals of Wella Professionals XPOSURE – the UK’s number one competition for hairdressing students.
Michelle, 32, who is a Level 3 hairdressing student, made it through the regional heats in style having come in the top 25 per cent of students who took part.
Open to students from any college or learning provider, the competition provides a platform for emerging talent. In it, students had to create a commercial cut and colour which was then judged by a panel of experts.
Sarah Bleackley, hairdressing curriculum leader at Bolton College, said: “We’re so proud of Michelle's achievements in reaching the national finals – she has worked so hard and her creativity has been outstanding.”
