Do you love baking and want to get involved with likeminded people and show off your wares in the Bolton area?

The Clandestine Cake Club was founded in 2010 to enable cake lovers to show off their skills and meet new people but until now, the nearest groups were in Preston and Chorley.

Rachel McGrath from Horwich decided to take the bull by the horns and start a Bolton Group and the first meeting held at Thyme Deli in Horwich was a huge success.  Rachel, an avid baker herself and owner of Dolly Bakes cake making business is keen to invite local people as the club is open to all, professional and amateurs alike, all ages and all genders, everyone is welcome.

The club though does have strict rules which are that everyone attending must bake a cake that can be cut into 8-12 pieces and they are also allowed to bring one non-baking friend. The club is strict on what constitutes a cake and cupcakes, pies and cookies are banned!

The meetings take place at locations that are kept secret until just a few days before the event and the next event will take place will have a ‘Sugar and Spice’ Theme on Saturday April 14th between 4pm and 6pm.
