Automatic Alarms, A leading established Fire & Security Company based in Bolton with over 32 years in the industry is looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Engineer, specialising in Servicing, Maintenance and fault finding on various Fire Alarm Systems .across Greater Manchester and the Northwest.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of Fire Alarm Systems, being methodical and professional in their approach to the workload, representing the Company to a high level at all times.

Duties to include:

Servicing of Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting & Warden Call Systems
Attending day to day fault calls and carry out repairs as required
Ensure relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner
Standard 40 hour working week plus overtime as required
To be available for a 24hour on-call rota
Maintain own vehicle stock
Attend internal and external training courses, where appropriate

Essential requirements

Previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer with the industry and extensive knowledge of both open protocol and close protocol systems. Good working knowledge of BS5839 (Fire Alarm Regulations)
Full driving licence
Excellent communication skills required

Good Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems
IT literate

And any the following would be desirable:

BAFE certification
FIA 1-5 certification
Knowledge Of Fire Extinguishers
Knowledge in Intruder Alarm, Access & CCTV systems
CSCS card
Current PASMA or IPAF licence
Experience in installation and small works

Salary package

Salary competitive within Industry standards, dependent on experience

Company Car provided

28 days holiday including statutory days, increasing to 33 with service.
