Alliance Learning, one of the leading independent training providers in the North West, has formed an on-going partnership with Victor Technologies, the global leader in gas equipment. Alliance Learning is the only learning provider in the UK to have secured this partnership directly with Victor Technologies, representing a truly exciting time in the company’s history.

Victor Technologies is a global manufacturer dedicated to developing innovative solutions for cutting, gas control and specialty welding applications. Their brands include: Victor®, Victor® Thermal Dynamics®, Thermal Arc®, Tweco®, Victor® Arcair®, Victor® TurboTorch® and Stoody®.

As part of this on-going collaboration, Victor Technologies has supplied Alliance Learning with a full range of new equipment across all requirements, which includes:
ï· New Tweco Fusion MIG torches
ï· New UK specification gas equipment launched in March 2013.
ï· Thermal Arc industrial welding machines

Victor Technologies also has recently provided Alliance Learning with three state-ofthe-art welding machines, allowing current apprentices to learn their skills on industry leading equipment and in turn use their newfound skills and knowledge to benefit the engineering companies for whom they work.

Paul Cocker, Alliance Learning Operations Executive, said, “Alliance Learning is incredibly proud to have won out over other learning providers in the North West to collaborate on such an exciting project with Victor Technologies. It is a pleasure working with Victor to bring our engineering apprentices such a massive opportunity.”

Victor Technologies' Regional Business Manager Steve Waring added, “At Victor Technologies, we know just how important it is to support the next generation of welders and fabricators and we look forward to working closely with Alliance Learning to ensure that the welders of the future are given the skills and experience they need to succeed.”

As a result of this exciting collaboration, Alliance Learning will be promoting Victor Technologies brands via their fabrication & welding training centre at Horwich, Bolton. This will be re-branded as a Victor Technologies training centre ready for the new engineering apprentice intake in September 2013, when the company is expecting over 100 new apprentices to commence their training.

Alliance Learning is looking at placing apprentices with companies in the North West and if any companies are interested, they are urged to get in touch with Alliance Learning on 01204 689592.
