AFG LAW are delighted to announced that they have offered training contracts this year to two members of staff, Jacqui Bourke and Emma Green who have been employed by AFG LAW  for the past 12 months.

“Throughout the time they have been with the firm, both Jacqui and Emma have shown their commitment to AFG LAW and demonstrated their own skills and abilities” says Teresa Vickers, head of the family law department at AFG LAW.

Associate solicitor Emma Cordock added “They are very competent and hardworking lawyers who are an asset to our firm, we are delighted they have accepted training contracts with us and have no doubt they will progress to become successful solicitors in whatever area of law they choose to specialise.”

Emma and Jacqui currently work within AFG LAW’s family department.  Emma is based in the new Bury office and Jacqui in the Bolton office.  Over the next eighteen months they will move between offices and different departments including civil litigation, criminal and property to ensure that they acquire a full range of legal experience and meet their training contact requirements.

Emma and Jacqui commented jointly “We are very proud that AFG LAW selected us for their training contracts and are excited to get started in September.  The law is such a complex and changing field meaning that these days no single lawyer can be an expert in everything.  We are looking forward to becoming proficient in different aspects of law and working with colleagues across our four departments.”
