The Quay Theatre may have had to close amidst Coronavirus precautions, but they will open when things are a little clearer. There have been some consistently brilliant performances, cinema and live theatre broadcasts. So, why not get your mum , a gift theatre gift voucher for a future events. You can call up on 01787 374745 or pop to the Box Office. Vouchers can be for any show and are valid up to a year

Sometimes it's nice to be given a bit of time for yourself. If your mum has been going on about joining a gym or getting fit, you can buy her a voucher for a PT session at Peake Fitness. Click here for more information. They also have Spa Days and treatments at Peake Spa, so you'll be spoiled for choice

Torque Bikes in Ballingdon have a great selection of bikes and e-bikes and biking accessories. You can visit their profile here and take a look. Or pop in and have a chat. Or just give them a call

Give her the gift of time

If your Mum is the person in charge of laundry and ironing in your house and if, like me, she hates it, why not let the ladies at The Laundry Goddess do it all for her. You're basically giving her hours of time she can spend doing something more pleasant and for many, there is no better gift!

Whatever your plans are to treat your Mum this year, try and keep it local and support the independents, especially during this challenging times.
