Stylish and comfortable, The Wagon at Sudbury offers something for everyone, from morning coffee to evening dining and cocktails

Having been stunningly refurbished in Spring 2019, The Wagon at Sudbury offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. There’s something for everyone; whether you want to pop in for morning coffee, have lunch with friends or spend an evening enjoying great food and award winning local beers from Nethergate. In warmer weather, enjoy a quiet drink in their sheltered courtyard or if it’s cooler, relax on their comfortable sofas in the bar area.

Just tucked behind Gainsborough House and a 3 minute walk from North Street Car Park, The Wagon is situated at Acton Square. It’s away from the hustle of the town centre, but just a stones throw away from the market and shops.

Food

The team at The Wagon are rightly proud of their carefully crafted menu. From sumptuous homemade burgers to tantalising Thai green curry, you will find a dish to suit all preferences. Their food is prepared from fresh and cooked to order and whereever possible, locally sourced. All bread comes from Westons bakery, just around the corner in Gaol Lane and meat from Jamie’s Meat Inn on North Street.

If you’re joined by younger members of your family, they will find a children’s menu. Or for the young diner with more adventurous tastes, a smaller portion of the regular menu is often available, wherever possible.

All food is cooked to order, so if you have any dietary requirements, just let them know. The chef and team will adapt dishes to suit & accommodate wherever possible

Mid Week Lunch Menu

For just £10, why not meet a friend for lunch and have a main, sweet treat and drink? You’ll always have a choice of either salad, pasta or a pie.

And not only is there a celebrated cocktail of the week, but an extensive gin menu served with Fever Tree tonics, cocktail (and mocktail menu).
