Let’s face it, nobody actually likes ironing! How many hours of your life each week are spent making your clothes crease free? The Laundry Goddess wants to give you some of your valuable time back with their ironing and laundry service, so you can get on with doing more exciting things.
Great Customer Service
As an independent and family run business, Beverley and the team at Laundry Goddess, are proud of their customer service. Every single customer, whether they’ve been with them for 10 years or just started are equally valued. All items are serviced in the shop, never leaving the premises, so you won’t find those annoying pen marks on your sheets. Your items are never washed with other washes and if you need a same day turn around with either ironing or washing, then they will so their best to make that happen, without slapping on additional charges for the privilege.
Value for money
The ironing and laundry services from the Laundry Goddess are fantastic value for money. Their modern laundry equipment means prices can be kept low, but with no sacrifice to quality. Ironing starts at just 50p for jeans and 75p for chinos, with service washes from £12 for a 16lb wash (that’s about 2 times the size of a domestic washing machine capacity).
Quick and convenient
The Laundry Goddess is open 7 days a week during winter hours (6 days a week during the Summer) You’re welcome to drop your laundry off and pick up or they offer a delivery service for those less mobile. Check with the staff for more details.
Washing and Drying Service
If you’re looking for a complete laundry service, their service washes start from £12 for 16lbs of washing. This includes washing, drying and folding (they even pair your socks). The professional washing machines and dryers can take up to 40lbs of washing in one load (That’s up to 4 times the capacity of a domestic machine) Included in the price are all detergent, (you need to bring your own fabric conditioner) There is no additional charge for starch
The last thing you want to do when you get home from your relaxing holiday is deal with all your dirty washing. The Laundry Goddess have it covered. Simply drop off your suitcases at their North Street shop and let the team do the rest. They’ll even clean your suitcases too. Prices range from £12-20 per bag
Sports Kit Cleaning
Don’t let a dirty sports kit clog up your washing machine. From £17 per football kit (including the sub) The Laundry Goddess will wash and dry your sports kit… even the kit bag! Get in contact for a quote for other kit cleans
Duvets can be washed and dried in just 120 minutes. So no need to stress if your cat decides to leave you a present on your duvet or your child is sick all over their bedding. Their fast turn around means the duvet can be back on the bed on the same day, clean, dried and aired. Pillows and sleeping bags can also be cleaned from £10
