Hundreds of people turned up to the Shrewsbury Big Curry event on July 23rd and organisers are delighted to announce that £7,500 was raised. The money is going towards ABF The Soldiers' Charity, which gives support to serving and retired soldiers.

Shrewsbury based caravan dealership, Salop Leisure, has reported a huge rise in the sale of outdoor accessories with so many locals now choosing to holiday within the UK. Their Shrewsbury HQ has seen a 20% increase Y-on-Y.

Tickets are now on sale and rehearsals underway for SDC's production of "Creditors" in Shrewsbury. Playing at Theatre Severn from October 27th - 29th, tickets for the tragi-comedy cost £12 or £10 (concessions).

The first ever Shrewsbury Big Curry, in aid of The Soldiers' Charity, has been hailed a great success. Hundreds of people attended Saturday's event in The Square, with 500 curries selling out in just 3 hours.
