We arrived at the hotel slightly late and reception were welcoming. We found that our restaurant table had been held for us despite being on the drag and we were invited to take our time and refresh after our journey before feeling like we had to head down to dinner.
The room was emaculate and loved the fact that the hotel was helping out the cause with plastic free environment - fresh milk and drinking water was available in the corridors to the rooms with a small fridge to keep these cool. The beds were comfortable and the pillow choice was exceptional - being a neck sufferer myself this is always an important feature!
We arrived at dinner and were greeted and shown to our table. From there on the service was impeccable and the food was of an amazing quality. The ambience in the restaurant was calm and relaxing with candles burning on both the tables and in small alcoves in the walls. The staff were attentive and very professional and friendly.
We didn't stay for breakfast but checkout was smooth and we were asked if our stay had been good.
We also didn't use the spa but the aroma of 'spa smells' was throughout the hotel and in the rooms which made for a very relaxing stay and we will be returning to use more of the faciliites in the future.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for are 40th anniversary but had to leave after 1 night

Some family hired one of the rooms here for a wake. The room was beautifully set out and the food was spot on with plenty of tea and coffee available in the room. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful. We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening where, again, the food was delicious and the service was brilliant. I would definitely go here again.

Just got back from an overnight stay and can’t fault this hotel at all. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, top quality and nice ambience. The facilities are all really clean and modern with comfortable rooms. Most of all every single member of staff we encountered was fantastic and went above and beyond. We’ve done a lot of spa overnighters at various chains and this was by far the best! Thank you!

The staff were truly welcoming. Credit to them all. Unfortunately, our dinner took a little longer to get to us as the share plate was late and then the main arrived 2 minutes later. We also waited a long time for breakfast as our order was apparently took to another table. However, staff were brilliant and the food was excellent. Room was surprisingly large and had everything you needed and a few extra's. I would visit again.

Easy to get to. Olde worldy inside lots of wood, nooks and crannies. Real fire was on when we arrived for a meal. Food on the pricey side steak £28, deserts £7, so the 6 of us had the gourmet burgers £18, which were about average price. Burgers were juicy and thick and cooked just right with triple cooked chips. Several rooms available for wedding venues or conferences. Really pretty gardens for photos or relaxing in. Chalk board near reception showing upcoming events such as cocktail making or children's entertainments. Beautiful spa and pool area.

Really enjoy this hotel. Plenty of parking lovely entrance helpful reception is what greats you. Well located in Kettering. The restaurant offers good choice and ok selection of wines and other tasty drinks. Rooms on offer at entry level are basic through to suites and 4 poster rooms. Spa was recently refurbished and is now very nice with a steam room, sauna and whirlpool. The gym is also well equipt. Lovely gardens to walk around which can be noisy due to proximity to A14 but generally not an issue. Plenty of conference space also available. They also offer good value weddings here and it is a lovely venue for it. Lovely central staircase and open fire make good photo location.

Booked this as it was in-between me, my mum and sisters for a spa day and get-together. The approach wasn't promising - bit industrial estate-y - but the hotel itself has been fantastic. Really good facilities, nice rooms, nice food, nice staff and very good value. Would go back for sure and I rarely feel that way about hotels!
