Close to Kettering Northamptonshire, Market Harborough and only one minute off the A14 at Junction 2 the pub offers quality bed & breakfast along with great pub food, bar facilities and large gardens in a village setting.
We reserved a table for four with a dog. They attempted to seat us upstairs in a rundown area, but we had to sit outside where flies were plentiful. The beef dinner was inedible; we couldn't cut through it, and instead of mash, there were three roasted potatoes. The service was unacceptable—she was more interested in chatting with the locals, making it difficult to get any assistance.
