Very poor service, having booked an afternoon tea for 3pm for a birthday treat we waited till gone 3.30pm having booked in10 minutes early. I had to go to the bar to ask what was happening. The waitress looked embarrassed and asked what we wanted, the afternoon tea!. I'm sure we had been forgotten. The food eventually came and was very good but we had to request a fresh stronger pot of tea to replace the very weak one that we had been served with. The fresh pot was slightly better but still very weak.
We expected much better service. At notime did anyone ask if everything was OK.

The Stag, your ideal country wedding venue in a perfect location only a few minutes from Kettering.
We reserved a table for four with a dog. They attempted to seat us upstairs in a rundown area, but we had to sit outside where flies were plentiful. The beef dinner was inedible; we couldn't cut through it, and instead of mash, there were three roasted potatoes. The service was unacceptable—she was more interested in chatting with the locals, making it difficult to get any assistance.

Kilworth Springs overlooks the superb Avon Valley on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border. providing all the best features and facilities for a wedding reception venue close to Kettering.
Superb and challenging golf course, really good practice facilities, lovely bar and decent pro shop. Great to see alot of youngsters about and enjoying the game and slightly humbled as most of them looked like they were better than me!
Greens absolutely tip-top.
Only minor complaint some of the tee-boxes not up to the standards the rest of the course sets, some looks as though its down to a wildlife (badgers I think) issue, and some "hackers club" issues. Understand we did play after a big comp weekend.
Different to alot of courses in the local area that I've played. Nice change from heavily tree-lined fairways.

We opted for a light Sausage and Chip supper which went down a treat, thanks Helen and team it was lovely! We also opted for the ‘in-house’ music which included Karaoke, that was great!
