All of our selected events have a charity focus this weekend - take a look - have some fun and support some great local Hastings based charities.... 

The Big Sleep - Stade Open Space

The Big Sleep returns to the Stade Open Space this Friday night as teams and individuals spend a night in a cardboard box to raise awareness and money for local charity SeaView - an open access wellbeing centre offering help and inspiration for people living on society's margins. There will be music from Dr Savage and The Rufus Stone band during the event, as well as a bedtime story from the host and KING SIZE Slim around the brazier for the sleepers. Charity Ball - Powdermills Hotel

On Friday Night, Powdermills Hotel will be hosting a Charity Ball in aid of the Hospice and The Judy Beard Unit at the Conquest Hospital where there will be a delicious three course meal to enjoy followed by a night of dancing with live music from The Do Theys. Guests will be dining in the ambient restaurant where they will be having duck pate, a succulent breast of chicken and glazed lemon tart. For more information click here.

Fabulously Vintage Fair - The Hub, Bodiam

The Fabulously Vintage Fair returns for its fifth year for what promises to be a truly vintage day out for all the family. This year's fair will be taking place this Saturday in the grounds of The Hub, Quarry Farm in Bodiam. At this event there will be a variety of retro stalls from the finest vintage traders spanning the 1920s-1990s with vintage clothing, homewares, kitchen memorabilia and much more. Y Front Run Hastings - Alexandra Park

This Sunday is the 5th annual 5k & 10k run in aid of male cancer, supporting local charities such as St Micheal's Hospice and raising awareness of male cancer. The Y Front campaign provides a forum for males of all ages to become more aware of cancer and kick it in the balls! All net proceeds get donated to male cancer charities and organisations.
