Starting from the woods, for the children 3+, or not needing a pushchair, you have Old Roar Gill, where you can walk for hours following the stream and crossing bridges. You also have Summerfields woods, where there is lots for the kids to explore.
Going to Alexandra Park next, there are many events held in the park during the Summer holidays. Look out for posters advertising the events around the park and on local facebook pages. Alexandra Park also has a play park for children of all ages, with climbing frames, swings, roundabouts and picnic tables for the adults and those yummy picnics.
Just off Bohemia Road you have Hastings Skatepark, Summerfields Leisure Centre, Clambers Playcentre and Battlezone Live. Fun for all ages and all sorts of interests.
Going onto the seafront there are a wide range of activities for all ages. Along Pelham Place there is mini golf, trampolines, a football pitch, pirate themed play park (Very suitable for a town who hold the Guinness World Record for 14,231 pirate themed people in one place) with ice-cream and fish and chips shops all along the seafront too.
Also all along the seafront there are amusements and 2p machines, and at the stade there are a whole host of rides for all ages, from a bopping 007 ride to bumper cars, ghost train and a hungry caterpillar ride too!
Further along you have all the fish huts as well as Smugglers Adventure and Blue Reef Aquarium and the East Cliff Railways.
Up on the West Hill you have Hastings Castle ruins and a cafe with a play park just across the road too!
Then you also have all the shops along George Street to take a walk around.
There is a wide range of activities to do in Hastings for all the family.
