Summer holidays are almost here so we're kicking off this update with news from the younger set...
The fabulous White Rock Theatre Youth and Community Arts Programme are set to perform yet another cracker of a show this summer, as they do every year!
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will feature the stars of tomorrow, a fantastic script, amazing set, awesome song and dance numbers and it's directed by Hastings panto legend and esteemed actor & director Ben Watson!
It's got smash hit smeared all over it!

Before all that though, why not chill out and take in some reggae tunes at the One Love Festival on the 27th July?
In what promises to be an epic reggae festival you can enjoy an afternoon & evening of Live Music and DJ’s / Sound Systems, all on site at the White Rock Theatre Hastings.
A true celebration of Caribbean culture including authentic Caribbean food, this over 18s event is the perfect way to get into the summer spirit.

Wednesday afternoon is cream tea and treat time!
Head over to the Cafe Lounge where you can take in stunning views of the pier and seafront, whilst enjoying a traditional afternoon tea with a selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and scones with fresh cream.
The next event is on Wednesday 31st July at 2:30pm, with the following one taking place at the same time on 28th August.

Hastings panto legend Ben Watson will be returning to the White Rock this Christmas as Wishee Washee in the magic carpet ride that is Aladdin!
Ben will be starring alongside the other big casting attraction for this year... Blue singing sensation Duncan James!
The audience can expect mystery, adventure, thrills and magic galore in what's certain to be the biggest and best pantomime the White Rock Theatre has ever seen!
Aladdin: The Magical Family Pantomime is on from 13th - 29th December.
