Panto season is almost upon us, that magical time of year when children of all ages can enjoy family entertainment that celebrates the start of the festive period.
This year The White Rock Theatre is presenting the much-loved pantomime "Sleeping Beauty", and it's sure to be a blast!
‘Once upon a time in a land far away, the beautiful Princess is given a sixteenth birthday present by her evil godmother Carabosse. By pricking her finger on an enchanted spinning wheel, she is placed under a cruel curse and forced to sleep for 100 years. Can true love survive, and the handsome Prince break the spell?’
The White Rock Theatre's 2017 panto performance stars X Factor’s Honey G as Fairy G in this year’s spellbinding production, alongside hilarious Hastings favourite Ben Watson,
back for his sixth consecutive White Rock Theatre panto appearance, plus fabulous dame Tim McArthur.
With magic, mayhem, music, comedy and special effects, Sleeping Beauty will continue the White Rock Theatre’s tradition of providing first-rate family pantomime in East Sussex. Be prepared for side-splitting gags, "oh no there isn’t, oh yes there is," and enchanting fun that will delight the younger members of the audience, and no doubt a few cheeky chuckles thrown in to amuse the adults too.
Sleeping Beauty is a panto favourite, a delightful story brought to life by a spectacular line up of stars - we're sure that it will be a sell-out! So make sure you book now to avoid disappointment.
Family parties, groups and organisations are always welcome but please book early to guarantee your seats together.
Whilst you are waiting for the show to begin why not check out the Bistro Café on the first floor. With a great selection of food and drinks available there's something for everyone. You can also pre-book drinks for the interval so you get them quickly and have plenty of time to enjoy them in comfort – and to eat the ice cream too!
Starting on Friday 15th December at 7:00 pm the show will run every night except Christmas Day and again in the afternoons – please check exact times of performances when booking. Performances then continue until New Year's Eve Sunday 31st December.
