Men all over the world miss out on symptoms of cancers such as testicular, prostate, penile and breast cancer. Hastings Y-front Run has decided to change that and to spread awareness about these cancers. Last year the Y-front Run which is known as ‘a male version of the Race for Life’ took place in Alexandra Park in Hastings with the aim of raising awareness and money for male cancers.

Last year’s event was a success with over 100 people taking part and raising £4,000 for Cancer Research UK. Since that event the Y-Front Run has grown taking part in events in Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Crawley & Worthing. Hastings Y Front Run has higher ambitions this year with intentions of raising even more money for the three key charities which are: Cancer Research UK, Balls to Cancer and the local St Michael’s Hospice.

FirmBalls 5-aside for league for businesses and professionals have agreed to team up with The Y-front Run and support the events for at least three years, with their mascot Pantman wearing the classic Y-fronts with the aim of encouraging as many men as possible to take part in the event which is a 5km run, walk or jog around Alexandra Park on Sunday 28 September.

So Men, dig out your Y-fronts and take part in this event for a great cause!

Please do get involved and check out the event details here: https://www.thebestof.co.uk/local/hastings/events/feature/y-front-run-hastings
