Get into the Christmas mood with all the family, watching the annual Christmas light ‘switch on’ in Hastings Priory Meadow by the cast of this year’s pantomime Cinderella, which is being played at the White Rock Theatre. There are also other Christmas lights being switched on in St Leonards and Bexhill.
Santa arrived on Thursday 26th November in Hastings. If you were unable to welcome Santa in person this year, don’t worry because we are sure the kids will want to visit Santa and Mrs Christmas in Santa’s Grotto in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre throughout December.
If you enjoy going to ‘Panto’ over the Christmas period then there’s a choice in Hastings this year. You can’t have failed to notice that EastEnders’ star Jessie Wallace, will lead in Cinderella at the White Rock Theatre from Friday 11th December until Sunday 27th December. While the Stables Theatre will be showing Aladdin also from 11th December until Wednesday 23rd December.
And Christmas wouldn’t be complete without the traditional seasonal fayre; there are a number to choose from too: Horizons Festive & Christmas Fayre, St Michaels Hospice’s Christmas Fayre, Cooden Beach Christmas Market, Winter Wonder World and many more.

Christmas is a time for fun and laughter; to get you in the mood, our friends at the De la Warr Pavilion in neighbouring Bexhill are hosting Christmas Comedy club nights from 9th December.
