The summer holidays are finally here! Hastings is bursting with great events for people of all ages, and especially children. Parents need only go as far as Hastings beautifully redeveloped pier for fantastic family friendly summery things to do outdoors.
Much fun to be had on the Pier or in the Park
Events such as the Science on the Sea Workshops brought to you by Blast Science, which are brimming with fully audience-engaging experiments that provide a creative learning experience for all.
Science on Sea takes place on Hastings Pier every Sunday between the 24th of July and the 21st of August.
For those looking for something to do a little more inland, head down to Alexandra park for their hugely successful Play in the Park event which returns on the 27th of July and on the 3rd of August.
Play in the Park is a brilliant event for parents and youngsters of all ages to meet up, run around, socialise and engage in sports activities for free. There is no need to book in advance, just simply turn up and have fun.
Some of the other top upcoming events include two circus events, an awesome kids summer club, Explorers Galorers- a family friendly street theatre for ages 5 and up, and so much more.
And of course, we can't forget how much fun it is to stroll along the Hastings & St Leonard's Promenade.
Schools out, so it's time to get ready for an exciting, fun packed summer in the beautifully scenic seaside town of Hastings.
